**Please note: The Kur for the Cure Freestyle class runs in the standard LARGE arena right after lunch break.


1. LEVELS: Introductory through FEI, Western Dressage


2. AWARDS: Ribbons to 6th place. All Kür riders will receive an award.


3. ENTRIES: FORMS are available at www.centralmainedressage.com . All competitors should use a standard schooling show entry form. Kür riders should bring two copies of their ride music on clearly labeled CDs that will play on a CD player.


All Classes $25 per class. Riders in all classes are invited and encouraged to participate in raising donations. Sponsorship fees can be made by the rider (a tax-deductible donation to The Dempsey Center), or sponsorship donations may be collected. Contact the manager for more information.


Post entries accepted at the discretion of the management with a $10.00 office fee for each late entry or change. No phone entries. Kür rides take precedence; once show is filled, entries will be placed on a waiting list. Negative coggins dated within 3 years is required.


4. RIDE TIMES: Times will be available on our website: www.centralmainedressage.com, on Facebook, or you may call the secretary.


5. STABLING: No stabling available on the grounds.


6. DIRECTIONS: (From The North), South on I-295 to exit 31B (Lisbon/Lewiston), West on Route 196 to Lisbon Falls, Left on Route 9 West, About 3 miles, Farm on right after sharp right turn (From The South), North on Maine Turnpike to exit 9 (Falmouth), North on I-295 to exit 22 (Durham/Freeport), Right off ramp, Right on Route 136 North, About 9 miles, Right on Route 9 East, About 1 mile, Farm on left.


7. FOOTING: 20 x 60 meter outdoor sand arena and 20 x 40 meter indoor sand arena.


8. FOOD: Snacks and water will be available on the grounds. A convenience store is located less than 2 miles from show grounds.


9. OTHER INFORMATION: Kür riders should feel free to experiment with choreography, but ALL Kürs, including INTRO LEVEL (Limited to Walk/Trot), will be ridden in a standard LARGE arena. Contact the show manager, or visit our website, for copies of the intro level freestyle requirements and links to USDF tests.


Costumes are allowed and encouraged for Class 1, the “Kür for a Cure.” At least one costume award will be made. Other competitors are encouraged to show their support by adding a touch of pink, purple, or any other “cancer color” to their show outfit. At least one “Pretty in Pink” award is given for the best pink turnout in classes other than the Kür. (Rules about tack and equipment still apply, i.e. no wraps or boots are allowed in any class except the Kür.) High score awards will also be made. Awards may be presented at the CMDA Awards Luncheon.
